OH YES! Waking up to huge rants from haters who are still thinking of you years later (<3<3 my haters are so loyal <3<3)…
This is Part Of Reality from time to time.
It can hurt you if you let it. “I can’t believe they just said that!” :'( </3
It can be baffling and confusing like “Wtf are you TALKING ABOUT?”
“That did NOT happen”
“How could you even say/think that?!”
It can make you defensive & throw blame
“Well you were…”
“I was so……..and you just…….”
“You didn’t even…”
It can drag you down, make you sad, lower your self-esteem & energy and DISTRACT you from what you’re here to do. FOR A LONG TIME.
You’ve gotta remember that:
• EVERYONE has an opinion
• What other people think of you is none of your business.
• You have a WAY HIGHER PURPOSE to serve, and your time and energy is better used elsewhere.
…so why did I bother taking the time & energy to write this post?
I want to share with you some of the shit you may come across on YOUR journey,
So that you can imagine it NOW & choose NOW how you want to feel about it, rather than it catching you off guard and unprepared when it’s there right infront of you.
I was DISTRAUGHT the first time it happened to me. It was someone who had previously told me that he loved what I was doing and he thought it was so important.
Then I opened my notifications one day to him saying I was a fake and that I should shut up and said “*deleted*” in his comment…which was a lie… he hadn’t even deleted me! That annoyed me even more, like “don’t say that publicly and then not do it – just f*ck off if you feel that way”.
Rather than leaving his comments that first time, I ENGAGED PUBLICLY from my point of hurt,
and it became a public debate/argument, which was not the worst, but definitely not the best.
I was upset, confused and hurt for DAYS.
I don’t want that to be you.
